It is situated in the heart of Madrid in the district of Palace, where most of the most important buildings in the city are situated, including the Royal Palace and the Opera Theatre. It is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Madrid, characterized by its charming streets and lush gardens. It is also close to the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, which you reach by foot via the pedestrianized streets of the area, with their boutiques, restaurants and cafes..
